Dave Kresta has over 18 years experience bringing focus and clarity to chaotic high-tech environments. With a technical background as a software engineer, as well as extensive product management and product marketing experience, he’s helped companies such as Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, SAS, and several startups turn vision into profitability.

Dave has expertise in implementing product management processes customized to organizations’ unique needs. Components of product management process development might include customer and market research, integrated multi-level roadmaps, idea generation and cultivation programs, prioritization schemes, and release planning. Resulting improvements typically include streamlined decision making, more responsive development, and effective balance between long term strategy and short term requirements.

He also has extensive experience with web-based products and internet strategies. At BetterManagement.com (a SAS company), Dave established the eCommerce, eLearning, SEO, and sponsorship programs. The work included strategic, operational, and technical program management. Dave also directed a complete site redesign, including customer research, current and next generation requirements definition, and complete management of the design and development activities.
