Patricia Lake is a performance improvement and organizational development professional with over 17 years experience in training, curriculum design, Human Resource management, project management, and all aspects of performance improvement.  She has served as both an internal and external consultant in a variety of industries, with an emphasis on manufacturing.  Patricia has presented internationally in a variety of venues on the topic of Human Performance Improvement.  She has published for ASTD InfoLine and for various technical journals.  Recent projects include web-based orientation and supervisory training programs for U.S. and Canada based personnel and an online training manual for front line supervisors.


Patricia has designed many successful classroom and online training programs for sales, production, administrative services, and all levels of leadership.  Performance improvement is a key driver in all her consulting initiatives.  Consequently the theme that drives her work is the linking of training initiatives to business needs, with an emphasis on measurable results.

 

Her credentials include Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR), a Master's Degree in English from Montclair State University, and she is in process of completing a Ph.D. in Instructional Design for Online Learning at Capella University.  Patricia is trained in the Rummler-Brache methodology for performance improvement.  She has served as Adjunct Professor at Upsala College and on the Business and Technology Faculty Advisory Committee at Excelsior College in New York.  Patricia recently developed and delivered curriculum for a Customized Workforce Training program in Oregon.
