Project Management Toolkit

Critical Tools and Methods for Managing Projects in Turbulent Environments

Benefits

This workshop enables project managers to:

  • Develop a project plan that takes change into account.

  • Collaborate with project teams to develop realistic schedules that are supported by everyone.

  • Instill a team to action through effective kickoffs and charter documents.

  • Proactively assess and mitigate risk to keep projects on track.

  • Continuously improve project leadership skills through debriefs and retrospects.

Workshop Description

As a Project Manager you must deliver results in the midst of turmoil. Project management is not what it used to be.  With global projects, changing technologies, multi-ethnic teams and other variables, it requires a more flexible and different understanding than in the past.

This two-day workshop is intended for beginners and intermediate project managers who wish to apply tools, but also understand how to do it in environments that are not stable due to changes in the business environment of today.  This course is not an “overview” course; rather it is a hands-on, practical workshop that will enable you to apply the tools to your projects.

Who should attend?

Anyone who is responsible for delivering measurable results, on time:

  • New project managers who must meet deadlines and deliver measurable results.

  • Project leaders who must deliver new products, processes or services on time.

  • Managers who must deliver results even in fast-changing environments.
