Workshop Description

This workshop provides tools and techniques for estimating and planning “smaller” projects such as an individual’s portion of a larger project, development projects requiring less than three months, and those everyday things that come up where someone needs to know how long it will take for completion. Project management fundamentals used for planning large projects are the basis for this streamlined approach, which can be easily applied by anyone to create the right-sized plan for their work.

The format of the course is a series of brief lectures followed by discussion and hands-on exercises. Case studies and real-life examples are used to illustrate project planning success stories, and failures. Each participant leaves with an action plan for implementation based on classroom exercises and discussion.
